Is The Apple iPad Still King

Apple iPad revolutionized the technology industry with the release of the original iPad,
but the tablet industry has come a long way since then; thanks to the birth of
the Android tablet.

Since the release of the original iPad, modern consumers have been looking for worthy alternatives that match the collective features and price of Apple’s infamous iOS tablet.

But consumers aren’t the only ones looking for alternatives to the iPad. In fact, finding a worthy
match is such an obsession for the tech world that the phrases “iPad killer”
and “iPad competitor” have been coined, and used regularly. Now been an Apple supporter and follower, I sometimes have to gulp at what I see the competition pull out their hats.

The obvious truth of such statements is that there has yet to be a product that encapsulates the
public attention and provides what Apple’s products do; keep in mind this does
not mean that there will never be an equal. It just means that Apple’s products
provide polish and ease of use first and foremost, which has been proven to
remain an important feature for many consumers. As baby boomers warm up to this
whole exciting tablet concept so does the need for simplicity of use, to which I
can only give Apple credit for their iPhone and iPad which are theoretically
one and the same device.

Many don’t know that the Google Android OS is just as polished and easy to use, well if you go on a two day training class for 9 hours straight (or so I think), and it has also
made its way to tablet devices. Fortunately for anyone interested in worthy
iPad competition, there has been a significant rise in the release of
Android-based tablets. Android tablets offer worthy competition to the iPad and
include identical, if not better, features which are often provided at a lower
price. But I still rate the iPad in a class of its own and ask myself why the
competition has to come out with model after model and new update each
week. Simply put they are flailing and trying whatever they can to get what Apple has achieved.
We at TAZ - Tech Accessory Zone still feel that the iPad Rules and will continue to support and follow the King of Tablets. http://www.techaccessoryzone.com/html
